JESSICA N. SERVAIS
Jessica’s practice includes antitrust, consumer protection, securities fraud, and business litigation with a focus on handling high-stakes litigation for business and consumer clients. Jessica has successfully represented plaintiffs in federal Section 1 (Conspiracy) and Section 2 (Monopoly) Sherman Act cases and securities fraud litigation. Representative matters include, Aftermarket Automotive Sheet Metal Antitrust Litigation (Fond Du Lac Bumper Exchange, Inc., et. al. v. Jui Li Enterprise Company, Ltd., et. al.) (E.D. Wis.) where she worked on the co-lead counsel team to win class certification and defeat motions for summary judgment in litigation on behalf of auto parts distributors, resulting in nearly $30 million in settlements to date; In re Capacitors Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Cal.) where she engaged in discovery and deposed executives of major electronic component manufacturers in civil antitrust litigation following the DOJ’s investigation of Hitachi Chemical Co., Panasonic, and others; In re Plasma Derivative Protein Therapies Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Ill.) where Jessica represented a major hospital in prosecuting civil antitrust claims against biopharmaceutical manufacturers; and Behrend v. Comcast Corp. (E.D. Pa.) where she served on a co-lead counsel team of renowned trial attorneys in class certification, summary judgment, and appellate litigation, resulting in $50 million in settlements. In addition, Jessica represented Colorado, Minnesota, and Utah state employee pension funds in private litigation regarding losses suffered in connection with their purchases of McKesson HBOC securities in In re McKesson HBOC Securities Litigation (N.D. Cal.).
Before beginning her practice, Jessica served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Davis in the United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
