Hartley LLP Appointed Co-Lead Counsel in Zelis Antitrust Litigation
Jason Hartley was appointed co-lead counsel by Judge Murphy in the District of Massachusetts in the class action antitrust lawsuit against the medical billing company Zelis. This case alleges a conspiracy among medical and dental insurers and their billing company, Zelis, to systematically underpay doctors and healthcare professionals for out-of-network care by sharing confidential proprietary pricing and other data. Judge Murphy stated that he believed that Hartley LLP and co-lead counsel, Paul LLP, have the “experience, resources, and ability to fairly and efficiently represent the interests of the putative class.”
