Jessica N. Servais, a skilled litigator with over 15 years of experience, has joined Hartley LLP as Of Counsel. Ms. Servais’s practice has focused on high stakes plaintiffs’ litigation for businesses and consumers, including substantial experience with antitrust, business, and consumer protection claims. She has served in senior roles running large multi-district litigation, including acting as co-lead counsel in the Aftermarket Automotive Sheet Metal Antitrust Litigation (Fond Du Lac Bumper Exchange, Inc., et. al. v. Jui Li Enterprise Company, Ltd., et. al.) (E.D. Wis.) where she won class certification and defeated numerous defense motions for summary judgment on behalf of auto parts distributors. Other highlights include running discovery and deposing senior executives of major electronic component manufacturers in In re Capacitors Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Cal.) and prosecuting civil antitrust claims against biopharmaceutical manufacturers on behalf of a major hospital in In re Plasma Derivative Protein Therapies Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Ill.). Her securities experience includes the representation of Colorado, Minnesota, and Utah state employee pension funds in private litigation regarding losses suffered in connection with their purchases of McKesson HBOC securities in In re McKesson HBOC Securities Litigation (N.D. Cal.). Before private practice, Ms. Servais clerked for a federal judge in the District of Minnesota.
